Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • Karuppu Kavuni Rice – ½ cup
  • Banana (sliced) – 1
  • Mixed Berries – ½ cup
  • Greek Yoghurt – ½ cup
  • Honey or Maple Syrup – 1 tbsp
  • Chia Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Almonds / Walnuts – 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Water – 1½ cups

Instructions for Karuppu Kavuni Breakfast Bowl:

Preparation:

  • Rinse and soak Karuppu Kavuni rice for 6 hours. Drain before use.
  • Boil rice in 1½ cups water until soft and chewy (around 25–30 minutes). Let it cool.

Cooking Process:

  • In a bowl, add cooked rice and a few spoons of yoghurt. Mix to a thick consistency.
  • Top with banana slices, berries, chia seeds, and chopped nuts.
  • Drizzle with honey or maple syrup.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
  • Best enjoyed as a post-workout breakfast or brunch bowl.

Pro Tips:

  • You can prepare the rice the night before and store it in the fridge.
  • Add nut butter for extra protein.
